Any Theories as to Brook's weight gain?

i think he was planning to move up in weight, dont know what went on behind the scenes but they mentioned golovkin as a possible opponent months before it was announced. If brook and hearn werent confident they can pull this off they wouldnt have done it.Comment

He was negotiating with Vargas for a fight at WW. I doubt they'd keep it secret if they were planning on fighting anyone else than Golovkin. The only way your theory makes sense is if Golovkin-Brook was planned all along.Comment

Why would he build muscle to move to MW unless he knew he was going to fight Golovkin?Originally posted by b0xPut little laugh icons all you want mate but Brook was talking about fighting Golovkin when Khan was training for Canelo. Wouldn't expect a casual to know about that though. Kell brook was massive when he was commentating on the Thurman Porter fight. Go look it up. It's a fact.
You see when you just make things up as you go along you end up tripping yourself up and looking like a moron. Golovkin planned to fight Brook from the start and never had the intention of fighting Eubank is what you're saying.Last edited by Robbie Barrett; 09-04-2016, 07:20 AM.Comment

If he isn't able to fight at 147, so be it. It would be nice to have another contender towards 160. WW is stacked alreadyOriginally posted by b0xHe's been similar to canelo in that he could probably fight much more comfortably at the division above the one he's been in. 160 is too far though but he wont be back at 147 thats for sure.Comment

He's always massive inbetween fights. Tell us something new.Originally posted by b0xWhat do you need it stamped on your forehead or something or maybe spelled out in your alphabet cereal?? He was massive at the porter thurman fight and he was talking about fighting golovkin at the same time the whole khan canelo farce was going down. These are facts. Deduce what you will, I can see my input won't help you.

Brook said he was starving and hungry all the time when he was making 147. He had 2 fights with Jones. The first fight was at 147 and he almost lost the fight. He rematched Jones at a weight limit of 152 and won by KO. He is probably stronger and hits harder at a weight well above 147. He was 167 to GGG's 162 a week before the fight so he might actually outweigh GGG on fight night. I don't think the gain in weight and punching power by Brook will be enough to save him from a beat down and an early round KO loss. I don't think he can hurt GGG but GGG can and will hurt him early and often. I think GGG is the better fighter at any weight.Comment

He was planning? Talking about and preparing for a fight are two different things. He wouldn't prepare for a fight at MW he didn't know he was going to get. How ****** are you?Originally posted by b0xYou've had your free information. You laughed at the idea brook was planning this for a while, and even when shown proof that Brook was planning to fight Golovkin since earlier this year, you rejected it. You are not worthy of any new information.

yeah you are correct, 'isaac' should know that golovkin brook was mentioned a long time ago, naive if they think it was just announced on the day like hearn said. And apparantly according to him and others brook isnt a big welterweight and golovkin is a large middleweight.Originally posted by b0xWhat do you need it stamped on your forehead or something or maybe spelled out in your alphabet cereal??
