Showtime's got the Joshua fight, will likely have Danny Garcia's next fight, Jack-Degale (which, seeing how folks talk on this board, has waning interest to some), and will be the TV partner for Lou DiBella in the coming Golovkin-Jacobs purse bid.
You add the coming junior middleweight fights (Charlo-Williams, and the likely afternoon broadcast for Demetrius Andrade, etc), Stevenson-Alvarez (likely to close out the year, with anticipation of Ward's pending free agency), the spillover of fights beyond what PBC can cover, and a pretty regular supply of fights through ShoBox, and I'm not sure what you're looking at.
Yep, boxing is the only reason I have HBO or Showtime as well.
Exactly, Showtime is trying a little, but it seems like HBO only has money for GGG and Roman. Hopefully they come up with a better line up for 2017, when networks compete, we usually win.
Naw, I haven't watched anything like that on HBO since Band of Brothers and the wire, Game of Thrones isn't my type of stuff. I will say, I do love Silicon Valley, but not enough to keep the channel.
Thats what happens when HBO commentors belittle their own fighters for ages. They made ppl hate technical boxing, technical is what Ali had been doing when rocking the world.
New HBO mgmt not good. Crawford postol should have been on boxing after dark. Lemioux good against fellow no D ****er he will not draw against no name cab driver. HBO now penny wise dollar foolish. Showtime will take over
