                Damn shame. Pointless fight. Lemieux should be fighting Top 10 Middleweight not a no name fighter.

                This is an embarrassing fight for HBO. Sad thing is that instead of investing 100 million in a show that you cancelled after one year they should put at some of that towards HBO Boxing.

                Golden Boy Promotions needs to have a sit down with the head of the sports division and figure out if this will continue next year. If so they need to start searching other avenues to showcase their talent.

                    This will be my last year of having premium TV anyway, but how offbeat is it to deflate a boxing budget? Pick the right fights, and they would have no problems getting viewers. As it is, they have little cashish to work with, and then have to force the commentators to fluff up the fighters in boring matchups.
