Errol is putting mofos to sleep in the ring..

Kieth is putting them to sleep in the stands.
Errol is "The Truth," but I don't think he's as popular with the casuals as Thurman YET!

First beat Golovkin, which is a very tall task, and then he can see about other big fights. As for Spence, he doesn't have the greatest defence but he seems to have a good chin, and certainly some vicious power. Mayweather noticed this in sparring sessions with him, which is why he rated him so highly, before he became more well-known.

That's actually an interesting point. If Brook won I would surmise he is the most popular fighter in the sport.

Brook is going to win this fight. He said so himself. He also said he isn't cashing out. If he beats GGG what makes you think he isn't capable of beating Canelo? With the huge UK market and power position he would command after the Triple G win it would be foolish to retire. Heck maybe even Floyd would come out of retirement for the lure of that elusive MW title against a guy that most likely would accomodate a 155 CW demand.

I think CBS did a great job with Thurman vs. Porter, and I think Thurman vs. Brook would be even better! I think if Haymon could get Danny Garcia and Broner in the ring, the winner could fight Thurman in a Showtime PPV in early 2017, and it would sell better than GGG vs. Lemieux!
Bradley is a star from the 3 Pacquiao fights. Danny had a lot of buzz when he smashed Matthysse on the Floyd undercard. Star power is truly gauged by how many people will pay money to see you fight. Its hard to gauge that with the free tv fights. Errol Spence outperformed Thurman-Porter with Bundu. And Thurman got beat up by Porter even if he did squeak out a win. I think Thurman lost. Thurman has been around and boxing people know him. Some casuals know him from the CBS fight and Guerrero NBC fight. Still, Spence probably has more name recognition with that 6 million plus views the Bundu fight got him. Who's to say Spence isn't the bigger star? 6 million people saw him massacre the guy Thurman went the distance with. They will want to see the kid Spence fight again!

I'm a big fan of Errol Spence Jr., but let's not get it twisted! Placing his fight right after the Olympic Gold Medal Basketball Game was brilliant! Errol did his job, and beat a much older man. I don't give credit for beating the same man 2 years later! If you don't think 41 is a little different than 39, you're probably under 35! 2 years of age on the body of a professional boxer is like 5 years of aging for the rest of us. The Oscar that Floyd beat, is not the same Oscar that Pacquiao beat. The Mosely that Floyd beat is not the same Mosely that Pacquiao beat. You get my point? I know that the Porter that Brook beat is not the Porter that Thurman barely beat, but more people saw Thurman vs. Porter than Brook vs. Porter. Thurman is a legit star in the game, but he needs a big fight, a PPV, and there are only 4 guys I think could get him what he needs: Pacquiao, Cotto, Garcia, or Broner!

But losing to Spence is FAR LESS likely than losing to GGG. It came down to money, period. And Brook would have been a near 50/50 against Spence which is far greater than his chances as a HUGE underdog against GGG. Choice A) the far more winnable fight against Spence or the far more money against GGG. Money talks. End of thread.

I bet more people are impressed with Spence than Thurman lately.

One time hasn't lived up to his name...now they call him run time.

So GGG is not warrior, but one of those boxing businessmen ya'll used to hate so much.

Amazing levels of hypocrisy Gigi inspires in these casual ass mofos.

Well no **** if he becomes THE middleweight champion he shouldn't go back to 147. He should try his best to entice Canelo into coming back up to 155. Cuz lets be honest if Brook actually does beat GGG at 160 Canelo is likely to still want 155 for some perceived edge at that weight.
