To me Gonzalez stays P4P no 1 if he beats Cuadras, regardless of Kovalev and Ward, they are fighting for no 2 spot in my book.

How about being undefeated? How about the eye test? Punch stats?

All of that comes into play.

A resume is only part of the equation. If a resume was all that mattered, then you better rank guys like Wepner and Douglas at the top.

It's like saying Edwin Valero is the best puncher ever

Or that joshua or wilder are the best because they knock out everyone, look good doing it and are undefeated..

There is no eye test,, you actually have to prove it... My whole point is that roman earned all his accolades pre-2012,, but since the Estrada fight he has been coasting, not testing himself, and somehow he been elevated to p4p #1 by beating old faded names and no-hopers...
I think roman is clearly one of the best fighters in the world, a lock for any p4p list, but when you rate him #1, then I think you are overrating him..

Same dudes that rank him #1, want to disqualify Ward, RIGO, danny, for not fighting the best guys available, but roman is doing the exact same thing over the past 4 years.. Cuadras is his first legit opponent in awhile.. Probably since yaegashi which was roman's only real opponent over the past 4 years..

I don't get why everyone gets so worked up when I say roman's last 4 years has been pretty much mismatches whe that's exactly what it is

I can answer, but it's futile when a guy has his mind made up. Kov nor GG have faced a guy as tough as Estrada. Neither GG or Kov has beaten a lineal champion. And how many weight classes has Chocolatito won titles in? You tried to pathetically criticize Viloria when 50 year old Hop is Kov's best win. GG's best win is Murray or Lemieux. Now you tell us who you have ranked pfp the best, and I'll **** all over your thoughts on that as well.

Who is pfp the best fighter in the world Adam?

Nobody is disqualifying Ward, Danny or Rigo, Foh. Worked up? It's a judgement call. Ward, Rigo and Danny don't have anything to do with your argument. Many people have Gonzalez universally recognized as pfp the best in the world. HE'S WON EVERY ONE OF HIS FIGHTS IN THE LAST 4 YEARS. You saying that he isn't testing himself is your opinion. Now he's facing another undefeated fighter who is bigger than him. Again, he probably isn't testing himself right?

His weight class isn't very important so who cares? Too small

WTF is all this ****? 112,108,105 are the least competitive weight classes, but so the **** what. saying u can't take chocolatito seriously because of his size is like saying u couldn't taking take the 90's hornets seriously because they had muggsy bogues.

I know right. They might be the least known. And they aren't close to the least competitive. Good point.

                      Floyd mayweather..

Or it's vacant and the kovolev/Ward winner is #1

Ward is de facto #1 IMO

And for the record I got roman ahead of ggg..
