Wow, didn't know that. Nice. So Jacobs and the next highest rated fighter? Would that be GGG or someone else?

I hate when they act like Lucas wasn't supposed to blast Manny and Floyd before Danny tamed him.

Not sure, just know they declined to sanction the bout and said should he lose the super title would be vacant..hell i would think Jacobs would become superchamp...thats how GGG got it

his best win is Martin Murray or Daniel Geale and he is named as top 5 P4P by most of the boxing journalists

idc about the "number of belts" I rather look behind it and then I see who he beat to get those belts. and I'm not that impressed by those names when I see them
and I also don' care about all the "shoulda-woulda" things about him being ducked and etc... even if he is being ducked, being ducked is not count as actual wins on resume
You should care about the fact GGG is ducked, because you giving more importance to gift decisions that nelo got over Lara is telling about you. Gift decisions is better than GGG destroying opponents I don't think so somehow.
But brook winning wouldn't make GGG a hypejob. Because we then know brook beats anyone if he can beat ggg

tell me a name in mw aside of Canelo (who's still half super welter btw) ducked him and a win over him would justify Golovkin's name in P4P top 5

who are those elite fighters who would have been such a great achievement for him if they would have fought him?

i don't even know who's in the top 10 P4P... It's an eye test made up by boxing pundits... Guys like Ward who haven't beaten anyone of consequence in years are still on there right? Crawford with one solid win over someone his size is on there I'm guessing? It's a mythical list and GGG being the MW champ and having numerous impressive wins over top 10 opponents gets him on there apparently.
Roman Gonzales seemingly went from unknown to number 1 on the list in a years time.... He's the best fighter in one of the glamour divisions in boxing with an impressive KO streak and the face of HBO, of course he's gonna be on a P4P list...

Probably both, depending on your perspective. There's legit arguments either way.

People need to stop saying it would be a WW beating a MW, though. It wouldn't be. They will both be Middleweights on the night of the fight.

Why? It's true. How many fights had Brook had at 160?
Personally, I wouldn't care either way. Neither is that special.

If Brook wins you all better give him credit. YALL BETTER GIVE HIM SOME DAMN CREDIT IF HE PULLS THIS OFF, WHICH HE WILL!
