I could careless about Brook workout videos and damn sure not wasting my time on youtube looking for them. Him adding the muscle will slow him down and that was his one so called advantage heading into this fight. He's getting knocked the F out
So you couldn't come up with one fighter in the history of the sport who lost their speed after moving up? Good to know.

    Well we'll see won't we

Brook has a lot to lose before Saturday...or is he aiming to come in over the limit?

But you're right, Brook is all about timing.
What Im saying is people acted like Floyd was ATG quick. He was slower than Mosley, Slower than Judah, Slower than Pacquiao, etc.

His reflexes were lightning quick, but in terms of hand speed, he was pretty average for a top welterweight, nothing crazy. Wasn't even as fast as Oscar was in his WW prime when he fought Tito, But his timing was immaculate. Dont get me wrong im not saying he was slow, he was definitely quick, but not lightning fast to be in the conversation with guys with really fast hands like Mosley, Roy Jones, Zab Judah, etc. He was like Bernard level speed. Fast enough to get the job done with his timing, and timing beats speed 10 out of 10 times. Mix that in with the fact that he threw short shots straight shots. Made him look faster than he was.

I have a feeling Brook will still have enough speed to get done what he wants to get done because he has timing, and he is a really good fighter.

Lets not fool ourselves. Kell Brook is the best welterweight in the world right now. You watched Thruman go to war with Porter. Kell Brook dismantled Porter and didn't even have to go into 2nd gear.

At first I wasn't too excited about this fight. I didn't know how well Brook was going to carry the weight. But its now looking like it might be a Leonard vs Hagler kind of affair, not the kind of joke Amir Khan gets fat to fight Alvarez kind of thing.

Brook has real skills and real boxing talent and a real boxing brain. Im excited to see what he can do against GGG.

Maybe coming in a little heavy will help his power and punch resistance. His only hope in winning is to somehow staying on his feet for 12 and maybe catching Golovkin coming in careless. There's little chance either one of those will happen. Khan was lucky for a few rounds until he was put to sleep. Let us hope Brook will at least be competitive for a couple of rounds.

Oh Yes Floyd never had Judah's hand or footspeed. Judah was Roy/Ray freak levels.

But Floyd can operate faster than any of those guys and react way faster. His counters also come in return faster as they are usually premeditated.

Yeah the thing for Kell is that he hasn't been developed the best. Porter was his first real step up and you can see he's already improved from in despite his mediocre opposition after Porter.

It's funny you brought the fight up as I'm watching it right now. I didn't recall how little of an effect Porter's punches had on Brook....They were really hurting Thurman.

I think Brook is gonna show us some Leonardesque greatness.

Do people understand that it is water weight that is cut a day or 2 before the weigh-in thru dehydration. He's not actually going to "lose" 8 pounds in a week

He's using all the weight allotted to him, why should he drain himself below 168?

I'm confident brook will do well as he sounds confident and I believe his confidendce is real. Not like khan who doesn't sound too convinced.
