    it is absolutely a sham

the casual fans who are condoning the WBA's greed and ******ity, simply because it benefits their guy..... are nothing but shameful ignorant cretins

way to piss on boxing history you clowns

Is Danny Jacobs the current WBA champ, or not ?

And BTW f@gs, " champion " means..... THE BEST !

    champion
    ˈtʃampɪən/Submit
    noun
    1.
a person who has surpassed all rivals in a sporting contest or other competition.

The answer is NO, because Golovkin is the true WBA champion..... so if Jacobs is not the true champion, then he cannot be making legitimate "defences" then, can he?

And neither could Golovkin back when he was the junior champion, minor champion, SECONDARY champion..... or whatever junk title they decided to use at the time.

Julio Cesar Chavez holds records for most successful consecutive defenses of world titles (27). Does that mean he fought in 27 straight world title fights? No.

For example, after he fought Roger Mayweather a second time for the title, he fought Kenny Vice, Rodolfo Batta and Ramon Aramburu. He then continued his defense streak against Sammy Fuentes.

Having a non title fight sandwiched in between title fights doesn't stop the consecutive defense streak. But I realize we are dealing with guys who have the iq of a toilet bowl so I'm not surprised these lames don't get it.

It fkn does so LMAO, because it is not a " defence "

      WTF?

The WBA super title is supposed to be for unified champions only. After Geale was stripped for not fighting GGG, there was no WBA MW super champion till Golovkin was elevated automatically by beating Lemieux for the IBF.

So..... Golovkin only has 2 legitimate defences, not 6 like we thought ?

They have Eduard Troyanovsky as a CHAMPION @140 LOL.
              Jose Pedraza @ 135

None of those guys are even top 10 at those divisions.

Johnriel Casimero over Estrada and #1 P4P Chocolito

Name 10 fighters at 135 and 140 that are better.
