Hmm...I am not convinced that it was about money because I think if it was true then Oscar De Lahoya would have streamed twitter war saying that Canelo is bigger draw and team GGG is asking for too much money. But I think team GGG could agree on 40/60 in favor of Canelo but mexican warrior wants more than 60%(or he is not confident in himself) which is proved by dropping the WBC belt otherwise he could have waited purse split where he would have been forced to give GGG 40-45% of the bid.

Because he was talking about money. He said Canelo is going to lowball him with at $2mil offer and say he [GGG] doesn't want the fight because he won't accept it. Then he says it's a 50/50 fight. He said Canelo was afraid. Why would Canelo be afraid of a fight he had a 50% chance of winning?

I've seen the video of canelo vs ggg. Neither going at it hard. Just getting in work. Don't recall anyone looking like they were hurt.
