I think Vargas is a pretty good fighter -- B level type of guy who just doesn't have the talent to ever sniff the A level tier, but still pretty good. His win over Ali was impressive.

That said, it's sad seeing a legendary all-timer stoop low enough to fight a guy like Vargas. Manny should only be fighting top shelf opposition...or nobody at all.

The match up alone is a farce and the fact that it's on PPV and will only get like 13 buys is even more of a farce.
