I know that you are aware of this..... but boxing is all about matchmaking, and matchmaking is all about styles..... so the keyword is " available ".

Brook got that fight because he will be " available ", during the fight.

That smaller boxer/puncher..... WILL, be available for Golovkin.

Unlike guys like Ward/Mora/Lara, mover/spoilers who are notoriously difficult to look good against.

Not saying that Golovkin can't beat 2 of those guys, just saying that he doesn't take difficult fights.
You got it! I don't know what was so hard for him to understand???

Why other 'fans' avoid this truth is like saying everyone is avoiding Amir Khan ...!

Canelo was shouting about putting MMA fighter Mcgregor in his place , not bad for a 180lbs fighter calling a featherweight from another sport....Canelo and Oscar really are a joke.

I think GGG might fake getting knocked down against Brook to bait Canelo into thinking he has enough of a chance to finally fight him.

Pavlik had more power at 160 than GGG.

Go to youtube and watch some Abraham highlights...then watch GGG's...

yea, they were much more concussive, no question

you completely made that rubbish up

Canelo dumped the belt, and said he wasn't ready to move to 160 yet

but he shoulda dumped that shht after the Cotto fight

the fact is, Hypekin could have had that fight if he was willing to be a man of his word..... but he wasn't

not only did Golovkin promise that he would fight Ward at 168, and Canelo at 154..... he also promised to negotiate on the weight with Canelo specifically, check my sig

Canelo is a diva, but he aint ******..... whereas Golovkin is just a story-teller who made a lot of hollow promises but then completely failed to live up to his hype

well, he is right..... but that does not negate your point imho

Brook WILL be broken down during that fight, most likely pretty easily

like Gennady said, he is too small

Murray (Golovkin's best opponent to date) is a tough SOB..... he wouldn't have taken those same shots from Hearns/Jackson, he would have fallen a lot earlier..... but Golovkin eventually got him anyway

but the key to me is more about style..... Lara is likely not that much sturdier than Brook, possibly a little..... but Brook will be "available" far more often, and far more easily, than Lara would be

that team are just as good at chess as they are at boxing

Wrong. Canelo didn't dump the belt and in fact fought Khan while he was holding the belt hostage and clearly indicated he would defend that title against GGG in an article last December which I posted here. Only when GGG scared Canelos balls off did Canelo drop the belt. There is a reason why the entire boxing community including Mexican fans and Mexican fighters have dumped on Canelo. You want to see fighters with balls? Check out Sal Sanchez, Jose Pipino Cuevas, Carlos Zarate, etc. You want to see a fighter in a pink tutu, see Canelo.

Here is the most absurd one of all: A man who walks into the ring at 170 pounds with a low body fat content claims he needs to grow into 160 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also in the amateurs slick southpaws gave GGG lots of problems.
