I already criticized GGG for statement. I never said Canelo only needs to be a man of his word, I said everything he has done COMPOUNDS his image and his bold yelling on TV after his fight is more than just being a man of his word, he emphatically stated in the ring he would fight GGG. What compounds things is what Canelo did to make history surrounding his middleweight title. That was a first in the history of the division and THAT is why he gets levelled 10 times the criticism of GGG.

Bottom line is this...if Trip keeps his word and agrees to 155, or even agrees to attempt to negotiate a catchweight, then the Alvarez shenanigans never happen. Sure he was mandatory and he had every right to hold firm for 160, but let's not overlook that Trip breaking his word created a lot of this mess.

Never said it was easier. The original tangent was PULLING A FIGHTER up and the weight difference. I clearly mentioned the difference in weight would be greater in the Canelo/Khan fight compared to the GGG/Brook fight. On top of Khan, not Brook, fought in his reign below 147. NEITHER Canelo or GGG should have picked those guys but anyone speaking about the 8 and 13 pounds is skewing the reality that Canelo was much heavier than Khan - than GGG will be against Brook. Those are the facts based on the tangent of the conversation which was about 8 and 13 pounds.

Exactly these reTa rds still going on pretending Canelo is a middleweight when he's never fought at 160 or against any 160lb fighter. He has had a few fights where he didn't have to weigh 154 because no title was on the line so he fought 1lb over at 155. If he can still make 154 then that's his frigging weight. GGG should move up if he can't get meaningful fights at 160 instead of begging fighters south to all come to his weight for fights. Otherwise just like GGG tells all these guys at 168 you have to sit and wait until I move up or you can come down in weigh if you want to fight now. That's literally word for word what Canelo is telling him. Come down in weight if you want to fight me or wait till I move to 160. You can't have it both ways GGG fanboys.

Also, the Canelo/Golovkin situation mirrors the Golovkin/Ward situation perfectly..... Golovkin tried to bring Ward down 4lb's and Canelo wants lil'G to drop 5lb's.

Once you make weight you can come in at any weight on fight night you want. If GGG is too small to move up to 168 and has said repeatedly that he has no problem in making 154 weight for a big fight. Then he should be jumping at the chance to go down and fight Canelo. Otherwise stop talking about fighters who have NEVER fought at 160 a day in their career.
