I point you to an article where his manager says they're only interested in that fight, but there are money issues, promoter issues, network issues and lara wants to stay at 154.. yet you somehow think that Golovkin can "choose" him?

I'm completely ignoring the part where Lara somehow wants to get paid $4-5m from Golovkin, which is an obvious price out since neither guy made that much money before, and Lara brings nothing to the table.

I can also point out that Loeffler reached out to Haymon about Lara recently, but you're just going to come up with another convoluted reason for why you think Golovkin sucks. Keep trolling.

You are the troll. Show me a post where I said golovkin sucks.

You are a fanboy. I say lara is a better opponent than brook and somehow I hate golovkin and think he sucks. Gtfoh

and I was using lara as an example because he beat canelo in most people eyes.

but I see you wanna turn this into a I hate golovkin debate. No thanks fam

And he was explaining to you that Lara was not an option, certainly not with 2 months till the Hbo date, when Brook stepped in. One guy is bringing huge money Uk Ppv, signs in 2 days, other guys team is saying "Lara commands a lot of money, fight won't be easy to make"

            I'm not your fam.

And you're calling Golovkin a cherry picker while whining about Lara, when EVERYBODY knows that Lara was not an option. What the hell else are you other than a hater? I told you that in order for 1 guy to jump weight someone else has to take the challenge. I showed you a multitude of other examples where the bigger guy accepting the challenge did not get called a cherry picker. But somehow in your own little fantasy world Golovkin is a cherry picker because he uttered the words "Brook is too small, I'd rather fight Canelo".
You're taking a generic phrase that has been uttered by a million other fighters and basing your whole bull**** argument on it.

For gods sake, Froch posted a picture with caption "too big, too strong for Golovkin". Do you see people calling him a cherrypicker?

And I'm not sure how many times people have to tell you this, how many articles people need to link you, but Lara was NOT an option because he was never serious about that fight. The actual real world options were to fight another British fighter in the UK at the arena they booked on that date, or to scrap the whole idea and go back to the States and try to find someone else to fight. The only options for an early Fall fight would have been a ~top15 contender that most likely would be seen as a no hoper. The options ****** ass. Brook made sense.

I'm not saying that this is the greatest fight in the world by any means, but you idiots calling it a freakshow etc is just another example of Golovkin hate squad going full ******. The facts are that Brook is a big dude who's had trouble making 147 for years now, he will come into the ring the same size as Golovkin.

And on top of all of this, all the people who know something about boxing see this fight as competitive. The odds for Brook-Golovkin are the shortest they have been for a Golovkin fight in FOUR YEARS. Liam Smith is a bigger underdog against Canelo than Brook is against Golovkin. So yeah, you can go back to whining about Lara, calling Golovkin a cherrypicker, calling all his opponents tomato cans or whatever you tell yourself to rock yourself to sleep.

            Bye.

Brook is the best underdog golovkin has ever faced. That's the dumbest **** I ever heard to justify a mismatch.

then you bring up froch, Froch never fought golovkin so why would anybody call him a cherry picker? ****** analogy

you are a clown, that would suck Golovkin's **** if he ask you nicely.

              fanboy won't call a spade a spade.

One guy is a welterweight with a **** resume at welterweight , the other guy beat canelo in most people's opinion.

But again, I was using lara as an example of better competition being out there.

Did golovkin say out his own mouth that brook is too small? Yes or no?

                You can't debate facts

You've got Golovkin fans that say Golovkin beats Ward and say he's too big at the same time. How's he too big if Golovkin beats him?

Ward ducked GGG when the fight was actually on the table.

HBO offered the fight in 2013 when both Ward and GGG were active and Ward was still at 168.

                    GGG said "Let's fight"

Ward said "Uuh my shoulder hurts" and went on to fight Edwin Rodriguez. LOL

All the time after that Ward went inactive for 2 years and returned as a Light Heavyweight.

No sane person with common sense takes Ward's hoax offer serious, a media gag sent an hour after GGG announced his opponent and Canelo/WBC plans, for the summer of 2016 which would be now @168. Ward himself revealed a couple weeks ago that its impossible for him to make 168 for some time and he is making 175 is tough as it is.

So the answer is: Ward never had the balls to fight GGG. HBO only took Ward back when he signed for a big fight, either against GGG or Kovalev. So Ward picked Kovalev since he knew he couldnt make 168 and losing to Kovalev is somewhat acceptable, but losing to GGG would be quite embarrassing.

That's all you need to know.

he beats ward at 168, not at light heavyweight
