True I don't count that Kessler win either you can't expect a real boxing fan of the sport to respect such a shameful disgusting display of anti-boxing skills that event was horrible!
Even with the Carl Froch fight it was such a boring fight the only reason I felt like Ward had success is because he could bully Froch with his significant weight advantage he had on him.

he only just beat froch aswell, which gets overlooked (115-113 on two cards). Yeah kessler is a no contest for me and i will happily justify why i see it as that to anyone. As ive said before, kovalev would absolutely steamroll the names on wards CV, it really isnt that impressive.

they weren't particularly accomplished before golovkin, either. geale, murray, macklin, lemieux, rosado, stevens, etc, are not guys who will be remembered in time as great fighters.


what golovkin has done is knocked out 20+ fighters in a row. he's hardly lost a round since he came to america. he's knocked out 6-7 top 10 guys now. no middleweight in the world stands a chance. he's either knocked out or been blatantly ducked by every top MW in the world. the guy is f#cking good. some people can't tell when they see it. some people can tell when they see it, they just don't want to admit it. are the ones i chiefly hate.


i'll also add this:
losing to a puncher isn't like losing to dan geale, or nobu ishida. you are not the same fighter. at the very least you need to rebuild and should be kept away from punchers for a few fights. it could end your career. you can make the argument that golovkin's contributed to the end of the career of several former contenders at MW, macklin and geale being the two big ones.
