I think Top Rank already had a deal in place for Tso (trained by Roach I believe) to fight Kono. That was going to be one some major TR card in the fall, but no longer.

Totally understand that as a separate story. But it's a bit like covering Mayweather-Pacquio fight and leading with Brook or somebody being upset they won't be able to fight Manny for a belt before you actually talk about what happened in the fight. I also care more about what Conceptoon and Kono think about the fight than what some contender who wasn't involved in the fight thinks
