Link to the fight from ring side...In a interview just a few hours ago Nica Concepcion said hes willing to unify with Chocolatito provided he defeats Cuadras ; that leaves Arroyo whos little brother fell victim to Gonzalez and Innoue. There is a lot of interest right now in the flyweight division people are missing out on so many great fights and Estrada vs. Ioka is up soon!!! the best fight the best in these divisions dont sleep!

Concepcion has really bought his career back from the brink

Absolutely much of that has been in becoming a better rounded boxer ; just a few years ago he was in FOTY candidate with Hernan Marquez compare that fight with the recent rematch and you can clearly see the improvement.

Couldn't have said it better myself. This time next year, flyweight and super flyweight will be producing the best fights. As for El Nica, the guy is constantly getting better with every fight. Makes me glad that he didn't get the Chocolatito fight three or four years ago when it was being tossed around. With both of their skill levels now, it will be pure fireworks.

2 me , this is an upset based on how poor Concepcion looked when he faced Carlos Cuadras... he said he wants 2 unify but he would lose it again to Quadra as well as
            2 Gonralez...

El Nica has the Balls to fight Chocolatito, Inoue does not, so there is that..
Chocolatito will be the guy to beat at Super Fly, he will crush Concepcion to unify and The Arroyo twin will want none of that, he will either vacate of just avoid him.

Why is the writer of this article leading with the disappointment of Tso - who was not fighting - when Conception beat a solid belt-holder like Kono for the belt? Don't really give an eff what the eff Tso thinks of Kono losing, at least not in the first article about the fight. Most readers don't even know who Tso is

I think Top Rank already had a deal in place for Tso (trained by Roach I believe) to fight Kono. That was going to be one some major TR card in the fall, but no longer.
