    Are Mexican boxing fans ******?

Are Mexican boxing fans ******? How the fok did a guy like CANELO end up as a superstar there? Weren't they supposed to have a big and proud boxing history? How can they support this guy, who only fights small fighters and now is known as possibly the biggest coward in the history of the sport? The guy is not even that good. He was an extremely easy fight for Mayweather and he lost to Lara and Trout (if you disagree, that's fair, but you can't deny that he looked bad) and he struggled against a shot small Cotto who had done nothing for years, except beating a onelegged cripple and losing to Trout. What's so impressive about Canelo? Even Khan was outboxing until the knockout happened, lol. The only thing about him that impresses me is his ability to manipulate his weight. Everything about him just screams "hypejob".

But Mayweather is a good fighter and he fought good opponents. Anthony Joshua has not even fought 20 fights yet, so you can't blame him for not fighting the best yet. He looks damn good so far, though.

Regarding Bellew, it's not like he's a big star in UK or something. I did get some respect for him after the Makabu fight, though.

You can't really compare them to Canelo. I've never seen such a hypejob and so ****** fans with such a low standard before. Okay, maybe except the time of Sven Ottke in Germany.

If joshua is just a novice then why put him on ppv?

Dude. Joshua is the most entertaining fighter to watch in many years. People like to see him fight already. He's a big hit in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, etc., it's far from just a British phenomen. Whenever a Joshua fight is on, me and my friends watch it and have a good time with it. We find it exciting to follow his development. If he still doesn't fight quality opponents when he's past 20, then yes, people will start losing their interest. But he deserves the interest at the moment.

                Theres entertaining fights on unimas

This bs argument to single out mexican fans isnt gonna do it for me

You completely changed the subject from level of opposition to entertainment just because it suits your argument. Lets talk about canelos entertainment value to be fair then. Cotto and khan fights were entertaining.

Level of opposition is relative to the point your career is at.
Joshua is a novice who fights fitting opposition for his current career-point who, despite being a novice, is a PPV attraction due to his fights being entertaining and his development being a joy to follow. Joshua is the future of heavyweight.

Canelo, at this point, is not even entertaining to watch anymore. He has almost fought 50 fights, for foks sake. It's time to step up. If Joshua had more than 40 fights under his belt and made cruiserweights and lightheavyweights move up to fight him, while refusing to fight Fury or Wilder, then yeah, he would be a joke like Canelo.

From what Ive read and understand

He's been a media hype job from the start. He got a lot of breaks because of his light skin and because women want to f.uck him. Canelo is for casual fans in Mexico , among hard core Boxing fans he isn't as beloved or respected as you would think

That's why a lot of Mexican boxers past & present disrespect( Marquez, Chavez , Nacho, Gilberto Ramirez, Magarito,Estrada) him because they don't feel he earned his position and is more sizzle then steak which he is
