I am a big Canelo fan. I hate to see him make a fool out of himself with verbal attacks like this on GGG to draw attention away from the fact that he gave up his 160 pound title rather than fight GGG at 160 pounds to try to remain champion. GGG wanted the WBC middleweight world title enough to fight for it. Canelo didn't want it bad enough to fight for it so GGG deserves it. Lara has nothing to do with anything. GGG wants to completely unify 160 so the fights he wants are with middleweight title belt holders Saunders and Jacobs. If Lara is serious about fighting GGG he should beat either Saunders or Jacobs and earn a middleweight title belt. GGG would then have a logical reason to fight him and he would get the fight. As long as Andrate is fighting at 154 Lara hasn't even cleaned out his own weight class.

i was gonna jump on canlo but what he said makes tons of sense. his focus is 154.......never fought at the actual weight of 160. so why are golovkin fans in a rage about him fighting at 154?

It's funny that he now gives Lara credit as a great fighter. He will not give Lara a rematch, even though the win was controversial, but said that her ready for a Mayweather rematch, even though it was a shut out.

GGG should of been fought Lara. That would be a good fight and even Trout would be a good fight to be made.

I just find fault in all of these fighters and promoters now. There needs to be a salary cap. That'll get rid of the A-side term.
