If his fans demanded more they'd get more. There's always an excuse. His whole career is based on fighting Canelo. But see what they don't realize is that Oscar and Eric Gomez peeped game. They see what GGG is doing. They saw what he was trying to do with Cotto. He's after that big money fight he don't care about the belts. THEY'VE EVEN ADMITTED THEY WOULD PUT THE CHASE FOR THE BELTS ON HOLD AND MOVE UP OR DOWN FOR A BIG MONEY FIGHT! That's why he kept taking that step aside money and allowing Cotto and Canelo to fight other people. If he only cared about the belts he would stop harassing Canelo for a fight and find a way to outbid Canelo for Saunders' WBO belt. If Canelo and Saunders offered him a fight tomorrow they would choose Canelo over Saunders. They're trying to make GGG a star off of Canelo. But Oscar, Gomez, Canelo, and Chepo see right thru the BS. They see GGG isn't willing to take a risk to get to where Canelo is right now and they aren't about to let him build his name off of Canelo without taking a risk. And to a certain extent I agree. I go back and forth on this. I get mad at Canelo for his level of competition but then I remember GGG won't even fight a guy Canelo fought and beat, Lara.

Dunno they would have taken it for 30% maybe, but now Ggg has 3 belts and made Canelo lose face in a major way so I figure he's due more. He's never been a stickler for that, nobody's ever said this guy is pricing himself out. I don't care if Ggg ever gets to be a bigger draw than Canelo, he's already outdone expectations many fold. Amazingly he might, cause he's way better than Canelo and has caught on with fans. And unfortunately for Canelo they're same size so he gets to lost a lot of credibility waiting for the real champ to get old., and embarrass himself non stop in the press with his clumsy counters that make him look ever worse
