  • Comments Thread For: Jean-Claude Van Damme Wants Mayweather-Pacquiao II

Despite Floyd Mayweather Jr's insistence that he has retired from boxing and has no plans of returning to the ring particularly in a rematch with eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao, there are still persistent rumors if not hopes that a rematch would eventually happen.

When this fight is made in 2017, we'll all look back at this moment as the tipping point.

By the way, Jean Claude was a beast in Lion Heart. He was jump kicking dudes like 3 times in the face before he was even coming back down to the ground...with moves like that he would totally own the UFC

You make a Legionnaire sequel (or reboot/remake) and then we can talk about a May-Pac 2

I'd watch Street Fighter 2 (as in, a sequel to the awful 1994 movie) before I'd watch Floyd - Manny 2.

That fight was a low moment in the history of the sport

Love van Damm but no thanks to a rematch

So he's a fan of Conor McGregor and Manny Pacquiao? Cool!

Also, Bloodsport will always be my number 1 favorite Van Damme movie. That was an MMA movie before there was MMA.

As for a rematch...that depends on how they are by then but you know Floyd won't go for it if he can't cheat.

Kickboxer and Bloodsport are his best films, but I always felt Lionheart is the most underrated and not far behind the other two.

Those who are begging for May - Pac II

JCVD is a very strong card to pull. Now, if they came back with my boy Chuck Norris ... we WILL have the fight. This fight will generate 1/4 the revenue (still outstanding) and stink like day old milk, but with a much fowler aftertaste.

Yup. I agree. If Chuck backs it...the world will have no choice in the matter.

                    It will happen.
