Comments Thread For: David Price Eager To Face Joseph Parker on Joshua Card

David Price is eager to fight Joseph Parker as momentum builds for the Kiwi heavyweight to appear on the undercard of Anthony Joshua's next world title defence. Parker and Joshua are on a collision course with Parker having the mandatory rights to challenge for the big Brit's IBF belt.

Dave saying anything to try and be relevant for that AJ payday, Parker is fighting Dimitrenko in October, so obviously he won't be fighting less than a month later..

Even if he did he would still spark out Price in 1 round

Parker simply isn't on the same level as any of these fighters mentioned. He's a tad bit overrated in my opinion.

          Agreed

He gets hit way to often to mix it with the big boys

If a shot to **** price lands a bomb it would be curtains . Can't see team Parker risking it , especially when there's a aj fight looming

Parker's team already said he will fight Dimitrenko on October 1st in New Zealand & then fight someone in the UK on the Joshua card on November 26th. They prefer him to be very active.

Winnable fight for Price IMO then again so was Teper and we all know how that one went.

Training in LA > flying across the world to fight a possible 12 round fight against dimentrenko, flying back to LA for another camp and then flying to the UK to fight again in less than a month?

                is that even remotely feasible?

Being active is one thing, bad management is another.

No chance, also there is no chance Price cashes out agaisnt a high risk fight against Parker for a quarter of the money they would make agaisnt cashing out against AJ $$$.

We all know As soon as someone touches Price, It's all over.

He was looking highly uncomfortable in his last fight when he was pressured against a Doorman from the Czech republic ffs

Why not gives price a chance against a top condender and gives parker the British exposure for a possible AJ fight

He has a better win on his resume than Wilder, Joshua etc. He gets hit often sure, he has a hell of a chin though. I love AJ, but we've seen he can be rocked. Doubt Price puts Parker out. More likely goes the other way within 2-3 rounds.
