anyone who thinks this isnt due to canelo needing fat burners and diuretics to make 154, is naive

No. The second weigh in is not at night. It's at the morning.IBF have an overnight rehydration limit of 10 lbs.
That cuts the overall rehydration weight gain between the (first) weigh in and the fight itself.
If Canelo was only allowed to gain 10lbs overnight after weighing in, he wouldn't be able to fight at Caneloweight, let alone 154.
GGG vs Lemieux was an IBF fight and Lemieux fight night weight was 175. He was able to keep rehydrating after the second day weigh in.Comment

I know it's in the morning, between 8 and 10 am, and the fighters can't be more than 10lbs over the limit for the fight, whatever it is..
If Canelo couldn't weigh more than 164 the morning after making 154, he'd be scewed, imo.Comment

"According to separate links on VADA’s website, the indication is that it was Smith (23-0-1, 13KOs) who formally withdrew from the program three weeks out from the third defense of the title he claimed last October"
Another case of selective reading.Comment

It's only going to get worse.
Yep. Smith might be the one initiating it but Canelo gave no push back at all.Comment

Because of Golovkin. It's all Golovkin's fault. Everything is Golovkin's fault. Golovkin and his fanboys are killing boxing.Comment
