WBO requires SAME day weight and can't weigh at anytime more than 10 lbs (164). GGG fans are salty as ALWAYS!!! Didn't he finally get some stones and NOW says he would fight Ward at 168???

CanYellow and Lil Lying G BOTH deserve the SHT they're getting. Both are a MOCKERY and a JOKE to the sport!!!

At LEAST he's GOING down in weight instead of making a 147lber come TWO weight classes up to the FULL 160lbs.

Those are IBF rules, NOT the WBO, ******.

No way could Canelo make weight for this fight if the WBO had the same 10lb rehydration limit as the IBF.

In a lead up to the "biggest star" in boxings next fight, in which he needs to cut a little more weight than previous fights everyone forgets to start the testing process? Curious how that detail gets missed? No accusations just curious.

It doesn't matter because the IBF doesn't have a rehydration limit anyway, they just weigh you the morning of the fight to make sure you didn't add more than 10 pounds, and then you're free to add as many weight as you want.

For example Lemieux against GGG made 170 the morning of the fight and then 175 fight night.

IBF have an overnight rehydration limit of 10 lbs.

That cuts the overall rehydration weight gain between the (first) weigh in and the fight itself.

If Canelo was only allowed to gain 10lbs overnight after weighing in, he wouldn't be able to fight at Caneloweight, let alone 154.
