    Fights signed

Same can be said about kov

He wasn't impressive vs chilemba and ward is just flat out better than that guy

This will be a highly competitive fight regardless who wins
Kov/Chilemba might very well have been a byproduct of Simikov though. People think he wasn't affected by that but he very well might have been.

I can't see any other outcome than Hopkins/Kovalev. A blatant one-sided boxing lesson. Unless Ward comes to fight in a way we haven't seen him do since the Super Six.

Like I said the fight is happening this year....ward is no coward and I'm expecting a great fight

I like both guys, I just think ward wins on points

Will all the detractors start making excuses or go into hiding just before during n after the fight like may vs PAC?

      We shall see
Whoever wins is p4p #1 and hats off to both fighters
have the refs and officials been announced yet?

And it reflects in the fighters and promoters. They shelter their fighter from danger for fear of 'being exposed'. Wearing a 'lucky' punch, or having an off night doesnt expose a fighter. Some guys act like a fighter should retire after taking a single loss.

Im not a big Ward fan, but I do have respect for the guy. He's not a 'fake an injury' kind of guy. Hes not going to run away from Kovalev. Hes coming to fight. I do give him some flak about GGG, a lot of which is just in jest. But he's the real deal and Im looking for to this clash of great LHWs in November

Well it's not like he could drag Kovalev to Oakland for this one, is it

he has pretty much only fought in oakland and his career against serious opposition has been on hiatus for years

but you're confusing people who acknowledge reality for people who want it to stay that way

everyone wants the kovalev fight to happen

Ward has home country advantage. Las Vegas is not a long drive from the Bay area.

It's like Kovalev fighting in Yakaterinberg - same distance. Ward has home country advantage as always.

I just hope there's an honest referee.

Kovalev being the champ, they should have Ward travel to Russia. There's lots of money for boxing in Russia, it would make perfect sense.

Considering Kovalev calls the US home, does better numbers and as you have pointed out, has more fans, wouldn't he really have the advantage in this contest?
