'team g string' didnt run from the fight, jubeis got all the evidence on another thread. Im not saying ward ducked GGG either, the fight just didnt happen. The best chance he has to get a defining fight is by hoping canelo grows a pair of balls. Saying that, if noone wants him at 160 for his next fight i'd rather he fight ramirez at 168.

If he's not going to take on Canelo at 155, I'd like o see him fight Jacobs. It will be a tough fight to make given the networks and promotors. If team g string brings their usual we have to have the upper hand negotiating stategy, it will be another good fight that can't be made and you and the rest of the g string ball gaggers can start up with your nobody wants to fight ggg rhetoric.

Man, I really like Golovkin as a fighter but some of the **** that comes outta Sanchez's mouth ... somebody needs to muzzle the guy. Dre may be a bit of a diva when it comes to negotiations but team GGG ain't any different - if fighting Ward at 168 was what you wanted you coulda had it. Bit late to start changing your tune now.

These guys were never within one weight class of each other, Ward could no longer squeeze down to 168 and Golovkin comfortably makes 160. I don't think either ducked the other, and fans of both should just drop it.

Let's see...who to believe

1. The guy moving up in weight to fight the Krusher as the b-side in the most highly anticipated fight in boxing.

2. The guy that is dragging a welterweight up in weight because that's the most logical low risk, high reward business decision that could be made .

Let's analyze these options. I will side with the fighter that has proven willing to take the risks.
