Saying "I'm only coming back for 100 million dollars" is basically saying I'm not coming back. What if a girl told you she'd only sleep with you if you paid her 20,000 dollars? She's basically telling you it's not going to happen. Although it's possible it's highly unlikely.

The Pacquiao fight was built up for 6 years. It was the exception. He's not getting that to fight McGregor lol. Hardly anyone wants to see that. Floyd typically made 32 million per fight during his showtime contract the Pacquiao fight was the sole exception because it was probably the most hyped up fight of all time. The McGregor fight not so much.

Showtime is not going to pay Floyd 100 million to fight a non boxer, be real. If Floyd got 100 million to face a guy with a 0-0 record then he'd probably be the greatest negotiator ever. Let's be realistic.

I saw an interview with Lennox Lewis where he said he would come back right now if he got a guaranteed 100 million. Who wouldn't get in there for that kind of money? But Lennox has been retired for 13 years and we know he isn't coming back. Floyd is basically saying "I'm not coming back unless you pay me an insane amount of money to fight a guy who doesn't even box."
