Comments Thread For: Mayweather: They Ask a Thousand Times - I'm NOT Coming Back!

Retired former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26KOs) is tired of answering questions regarding a potential ring return. Mayweather called time on his career last September, after dominating former welterweight champion Andre Berto over twelve rounds at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Please stay retired, it's much more interesting following 147 now.

cant see him coming back apart from maybe a circus fight with mcgregor. do think there were signs that he was starting to slow down in his last few fights (i know he whooped pacquiao but pacquiao himself had slowed down too).

Yeah I don't see him coming back tbh.

He's quite old now and his Uncle Roger has some disease that affects his training..

Floyd has nothing left to prove , he's not one of these fighters who got too big for his boots and shorts and got knocked out or looked bad against a nobody, in his prime he could of have shared the ring with the greats and held his own. There is always going to be much lesser fighters out there trying to leech off his name as they do .

I hope Floyd keeps to his word as it would be sad to see what we sometimes see , a once great fighter being beaten by a nobody.

Enjoy retirement Floyd. You achieved more than you ever thought you could.
Unbeaten and top 25 of all time if you told him he could achieve that at the start of his career he wouldn't believe you.

I think if he doesnt come back or announce a return by year's end, he wont return.... unless some financial crisis happens.

Lol didn't this fool say publicly he wanted to fight Mcgregor?

Now it's annoying that people are asking about his comeback.

                  This guy.

I think he's retired for good now. Initially, straight after the Berto fight i thought his plan was to return. Now, i don't see it.
