yes you are most likely right unfortunately but if one does i expect itd be kyowa to leave his turf heck i would hope so that way he would prove me right in calderons turf

calderon will move up i think or maybe cause the fight wont get made cause yeah i doubt either guy is scared to fight the other really

but i would bet someone else a side bet that baya dont pay up if the fight ever does happen

Mayol had stamina for a 6-round fight only. When was the last time he lasted the full route? He fought a furious pace expecting Eagle to fold just like the previous opponents he's been knocking out one after another. The problem is - when an opponent just smiles back to your powerpunches and just won't go down, can you sustain your attack? Pacquiao is simply a freak of nature IMO, RE Barrera fight. I've read posts that Mayol employed the wrong strategy. I'd say it's the only way to fight Eagle - overwhelm him. Aguirre, Takayama, Bustos tried to box and brawl him at spots, but they were simply dominated and counterpunched all night.

As for Eagle, now we know just how tough and durable he is. His stamina is superb and his punches are so accurate. He's like a mini-version of JMM @105, excellent boxing and counterpunching skills. Never throws a single punch, always 2~3 punch combo with precision. He's the best @105 at the moment IMO, until Calderon proves this otherwise.

Now, let's have that unification fights with Kyowa-Niida-Calderon. BTW, IBF champ Rachman TKOd Soto, he deserves to be in this tournament.

Cold threads are poison to fighters. If you needed proof, this was it. Hey cold, who are you rooting for in Taylor Winky? Just so I know who to put my money on.

Saw the fight too.I was very confident of a Mayol victory. He tried his best to KO Eagle from round's 1 to 5.And he came close to doing it.Eagle was almost out on his feet and his face was a mess.Unfortunately, as was pointed out in the threads above, he gassed out.

Looks like his trainers didnt consider the possibility that it may go the 12 round distance. From what i heard, they really were afraid of going to the scorecard. With Japans reputation for decisions, I cant say I blame them.So they geared Mayol to go for KO.Looks like the plan backfired when Eagle wouldnt go down. ;P

But it was a clear win for Kyowa.Cong**** to him.

                      Great fight.

Mayol was really laying a beating on him over the 1st half of the fight, and then Kyowa found his rythem. Mayol seemed discouraged he didn't score a stoppage, and his conditioning faded in the late rounds.

I thought Kyowa won it 114-113 with the knock down in the 12th, but both guys made a very exciting account of themselves.

This was a very good fight and the boxing world should pay more attention to these little guys.
