they also deny that Ward ducked Stevenson when he was offered a 2 fight deal. he was quoted "stevenson doesnt deserve it"..he has dodged fighters before

Andre Ward, even before the Super Six, was one of the cornerstones of boxing for Showtime; Showtime wouldn't have even taken the risk on the tournament were it not for Ward and Andre Dirrell having the chance to break through if they won.

Without the Super Six, Andre Ward still fights Edison Miranda and Shelly Pudwill. Without Kessler/Froch/Abraham/etc lined, Ward likely keeps on his path with the IBF (Andre Ward was rated #9 before the Miranda fight, who was rated #8 http://www.ne.jp/asahi/counter/every...09/ibf0409.pdf), likely 2-3 fights away from being mandatory challenger, for an organization that actually enforces their mandatories.

I think no question it is some who would rather keep talking trash about the fighter rather than run the risk of having to STFU when the fight happen and the guy they're backing loses and they would have to STFU and go away like so many fanbase that came and went on this forum

So yes I do think some are preparing excuse early by already crying about Ward style, suggesting that Refs won't be far. Crying about Clinching and Headbutts which haven't been a problem for Ward since the Sakio Bika fight and on and on and on

These are also the same fans who accused Crawford of ducking when things went silence about the fight before it was announce, then once it was announce all of those fans kinda disappeared

We been here before we know how it will end it is the same ***in script with different fighters involved but it is the same fans with different accounts jumping from bandwagon to bandwagon and if their guy lose they will comeback stroking a new guy until he gets knocked off

the comments ward made regarding protecting his health, not wanting his wife to see him hurt after fights etc are a reason that people are worried. This self entitled piece of **** thinks its okay for him to beat up on fighters who are levels below him, but makes it sound as if its unfair for people to expect him to take punches in return. In his warped mind i think he thinks hes proven everything he needs to and doesnt have to fight kovalev if he doesnt want to. ANd he knows krusher doesnt play games, could do him some serious damage.

I am a Kovalev fan and not a Ward fan. I want the fight to happen. The best fighting the best is always good. I think Kovalev will win and I hope he wins. If Ward wins he deserves the victory and the credit as the world's best light heavyweight to me anyway. Some may have Stevenson rated as equal or better than Ward and Kovalev but I rate Stevenson a notch below them.

1) The organizations were no where near as close to working together as they are now.

2) I have no idea where Andre Ward was ranked by any of the other organization.

With Showtime continuing to feature Ward (and Ward settling in to trying to build his following a Oracle Arena), and Showtime possibly also still being in the Lucian Bute business, the big fight for Showtime becomes Bute vs Ward (with Ward likely making the trip to Montreal).

Kessler in Denmark is unknown to me, but Carl Froch wasn't drawing any real money in the UK.
