I voted Ward is training for Kovalev. Ward is a dead serious fighter. He doesn't play games or fake injuries to get out of fights. He never has faked injuries and he never will. Ward will show up for the Kovalev fight and he will be in top condition and coming to do his best to win.

Current info from a source very close to wards camp is that he whilst reviewing his last fight he fell asleep and no one has been successful in waking him from such a deep sleep.

To be fair I don't put it past Duva to sink this ship by herself regardless of what Kovalev & Ward wanna do. I mean she did embarrassingly misplay the **** outta the Kovalev vs Stevenson fight with the mandatory purse bid situation awhile back.

And like I keep saying RN seem like they are dying to shoot themselves in the foot as well so RN dropping the ball seems possible too.
