I thought Ward looked sharp against Brand, a lot better than he did against Barrera. I just thought it was a bad opponent, but I understand why Brand was chosen.

I'm a big fan of Ward and I'm a fan of Kov as well. I really don't care who wins because I'm a fan of both, but if I had to pick I'd pick Ward via close decision.

They are two amazing fighters that aren't getting hyped outside of boxing circles unfortunately for this fight to build into something big.

Exactly! Andre Ward and Bernard Hopkins are two totally different fighters! Plus he beat Hopkins on the back end of his career, if it were the Hopkins that fought Pavlik it would have been a different story.

why do you guys think Canelo only wins cause he has a size advantage? Canelo is actually an intelligent boxer and throws fast sharp counter punches with power and that makes him very dangerous. He is also very good at slipping punches makes you miss and makes you pay. Pay attention to the way he fights he doesn't just bum rush guys and trys to impose his size that is not his style of fighting. He has a very good chance against GGG.

people sleep on nelos skills, hes good but will never be great IMO but he does have skills and is a great counter puncher

He does have a good chance..They just need to take the training wheels off..I don't think GGG will completely wash Canelo, same as I think GGG is intelligent enough to not get washed by Ward but it seems their teams believe so more than fans, and steer clear..

It seems as though Abel has a problem with Ward. The GGG fight didn't happen and probably won't happen now. Ward beat Barrera. Sanchez needs to let it go. Ward seems to have moved on. He should do the same.
