He doesn't do enough in fights. He doesn't throw as many punches as he should. With smaller guys he was just waiting for that one shot to land. And he knew they couldn't hurt him. He looked like the next floyd at smaller weights but when it actually came to proving it at 147 he couldn't. He should try keep his weight as low as possible because at 147 he gets beaten by any of the top guys.
Broner: from future fighter of the decade to joke. What went wrong?

He had a big size advantage at the lower weights and even missed weight before. He was just able to run through guys because he was much bigger, he started looking average when he moved up in weight. Even arguably lost to malinaggi, then maidana happened. I still think he has potential though he just needs to focus on boxing and not being some party boy wanna be rapper celebrity.

He got carried away with himself and started comparing himself to Floyd which in turn made other people start looking at him vs Floyd so when he lost everyone was twice as hard on him. He is talented, but he is who he is, he cant change that side of him, he is expressionate, and hes probably got thin skin too so its ****ed up his whole mind and focus. Prison has made him see the light, he needs to be re-born and transform himself into a better person, stay away from the media and all that ****. Hes still young and can come back in strong and make moneyComment

This^^^^. I think he was all wrapped up in the Mayweather hype. He tried to emulate Floyd and his lifestyle. He wasn't close to having Floyds skill but had a distorted image of self importance. Basically a street punk who deserved and needed to get slapped around my Maidana to show him what was up. Wasted potential and a disappointment to the sport.Comment

Unlike Floyd....when Broner moved up he didn't make any adjustments...he tried to fight the bigger guys the same way.
Plus..
He didn't listen to his trainer.
Not only that..
He ballooned in weight between fights.Comment
