Floyd would be better served running a boxing gym mentoring fighters vs a promoter shelving their careers if they don't bend to his will.
BTW: I did read your previous post but unsure why you giving floyd a pass for this mess his trying to pull

interesting assessment.........
all I was saying is that if a fighter goes against their promoter whether it's business/personal or whatever usually they get put on the shelf. Walters seems to be put on hiatus because he turned down the Loma fight. Davis might be on the shelf because he doesn't want to move. Mikey Garcia got put on ice because he wanted to leave Arum. Mickey Bey seemed to get the cold shoulder because he didn't want to fight the Russian kid. It seems that if a fighter doesn't go along with their promoter usually it's the fighter that ends up losing. The promoter holds the power.
I was replying to the que.er who said Mayweathers a plantation owner when all promoters are basically plantation owners. But because it's Mayweather he's the bad guy to this clown

WTF are you talking about, Why do you feel you need to make sh.it up just to fit your narrative , I've been on record saying I understood why Arum iced Garcia. I don't recall ever insulting Arum for icing Walters , If this situation between Davis /Mayweather is true then I get why he'd put him on the shelf too. Is it fair probably not but It is what it is
You come across as a f@got just thinking because it's Mayweather that whatever he does Id agree with.
Originally posted by OnePunch View Postoh no doubt. These posts are comical. Floyd, the PROMOTER is "investing" in this young man, and the kid should be grateful and follow floyds instructions and blah blah blah. But Arum or anyone else says a single word about a fighters lifestyle and its "greedy MFer should shut up he is just a bloodsucker the fighter takes all the risks" and on and on......
its too funny...........

How is it comical, Mayweather is investing in him. For all we know if Davis is left with the circle he's in he might end up like another Broner wasting his talent. Mayweathers trying to make another Mayweather if Davis doesn't want to play ball there is lots of other fighters with potential that Mayweather could invest his time/Money/effort in trying to be the next star. and from all reports it's probably for the best to get him out of Baltimore Davis wants to be a ****** hood star. If Mayweather would rather him focus on his craft then in the streets how is that a bad thing.
You're the f@ggot who can't see the difference between someone turning down career paydays VS a promoter trying to relocate a fighter by force.Last edited by Francis M.; 08-23-2016, 10:26 PM.

This dude is already a clown and I don't like him....just another, "I gotta keep it real for my hometown" fools.
Nobody cares about what he's been dealing with for the past few weeks, he's a professional and an entertainer...people pay for that.
These young clowns are so busy trying to come off as bosses, but are so quick to offer excuses and play the sympathy card when things get rough.
I understand what it means to want to make sure your family is okay (financially), but that's what direct deposit and wire transfers are for.
Nobody's gonna give you extra points for "keeping it real", trust me, it's boxing, it's the sport of "what have you done for me lately?".
All of this "taking care of family" better ONLY include children and sick members, none of those able-bodied grown folks who feel they've hit the lotto because you've gone pro.
If so, then he's already in the loser's bracket. Hasn't he heard, "When you're helping others, you aren't allowed to have your own problems....to them, it only means that you won't be able to help them.
Hope this young dude gets it together....and quickly.
