this is fans..boxing fans.....ANGRY that a boxing event drew such high numbers. we have people in here spinning the truth. using the olympics against the event (without actually even knowing the facts) making up crap.

the hate is strong with spence & i simply don't get it. this kid is humble, nice, & a family guy. you complained about "runners" in the sport. you complained about runners in till your a**hole fell off. no runners! but this kid doesn't "run" he throws almost a hundred punches A round. he has a very physical mean destroy style.

i have no clue why someone would go out of their way to hate so much that u even are spinning raw numbers. but then u praise fighters like golovkin.

I dont see it as fans being "angry" or "hating" on Spence because of the high viewership numbers. I think its more of an issue of crediting something else for the numbers rather than saying that it was Spence who drew in 6mil viewers which we all know was not the case.

There have been MUCH higher profiled fighters who fought on cards that had a much bigger promotion behind it yet those fights did FAR less ratings than this fight. I myself didnt even know this fight was on as I so no promotion for it. I found out about it AFTER.

All in all it was good exposure for Spence. Lets just hope he doesnt let those numbers get to his head making him believe he's some sort of superstar who commands 7 figure paydays from this point on to fight C level opposition. Truth be told, he'd be lucky to crack 500k views on his next bought.
