If this fight comes off i truly hope Salido is handsomely compensated.

Its all nice and good to praise him for being in wars and what not.

it all adds up to a short shelf life and i hope he has something to show for it.

And i thought he should have gotten the decision against Vargas.
But it was a war , every body was happy and thus nobody seemed to care it was a draw.

Fact of the matter is that it affects how much he can command in fights.

They offered him less than what Martinez got. Salido is the A-side, **** lomachenko's team for low balling him

Another war if it gets made. Salido could be in 2 fight of the year candidates. When vargas cuts heal up you can throw him in with either guy in a rematch.

            Good fight

Props to Golden Boy for getting options on Salido, Orlando is the f.ucking man

It's crazy HBOs had about 3-4 fights I've actually wanted to watch this year and Salido will be in 2 of them.

Don't kid yourself. Salido has never been the A side. Juan Manuel Marquez was the A side in their fight. Gamboa was the A side in their fight. In his fights with JuanMa Lopez, JuanMa was the A side both times, Lom would be the A side, Garcia was the A side, Rocky Martinez was the A side. Salido's top opponents have all either had more clout or a bigger fan base/gate draw. That's why JuanMa got both fights held in Puerto Rico. That doesn't mean it is right, but boxing is a business, and this is how business works.
