Ye true but im pretty sure i read somewhere Castillo withdrew from the negotiations, and then the ibf let Obara get the mandatory position instead of him having to fight yet another eliminator

FFS, Castillo had absolutely no business fighting for the IBF mandatory in the first place. So Obara, if robbed, was "robbed" in a fight against a guy who he should have easily beaten if in fact he deserved a title fight. Lipinets KO'd Castillo in his next fight. Maybe Lipinets is the one who deserves the title fight
