Even the early 160-pound Arthur Abraham or the pre-Pavlik Edison Miranda would have took it to him and then we could gauge him," Froch told Sky Sports.

Still had him at #8. What's so salty about this?
Cause all the rankings have him top 5, yet a guy that said "swerve him like the plague" and passed on fighting him says he's not top 5 cause he needs to step up. See the problem here, Canelo fan?

      Khan has done it
      GGG has done it
      Ward hasn't done it

He would like to have been the best of his division at least at one point of time
GGG has done it with 160
Khan has done it with 140
Ward has done it with 168
During Froch time Calzaghe was always ahead of him and then Ward and Kessler finished ahead of him.

There are a lot of reasons for him to be a bit bitter
BOOM! Get you some of that Froch! Truth be told. Froch was a good puncher and could take a punch , but fought weak euros as well. He fought Ward what happened. He lost. Then he sounded like Marquez , i was robbed over and over till alot of people started to believe it. Bull****. You got worked over you loser. Shut up and stay retired. Or grow some balls and fight him at 168 you *****.

So why aren't these guys fighting each other at deep sww? I told you why they'd move up, 3 belts and a career high purse, and they go p4p if they somehow beat Ggg. But they'd rather be fighting Vanes, Culcay, Liam Smith for a fraction of the purse
if you are petitioning for ggg who could easily make 154 not to be in the deeper class were welters come up to fight and where 4 of the 4 (canelo, cotto, floyd, pac) ppv stars under the hw limit have all fought...MAN SMACK YOURSELF for saying u dont want to see a deep weight class with mad talent and....dude played himself like i said

HE DIDNT GIVE HIMSELF ANY CHANCE TO BE GREAT...by rankings alone he would have foughten at least a lara or trout by now...AND THOSE ARE MUCH MORE CREDIBLE WINS THAT FUGGIN MARTIN MURRAY

Yeah he played himself yet he's a bigger star than all of those guys put together, excluding Canelo. Again dummy, Floyd, PAC, Cotto, Canelo are not fighting him at any weight, so why do you keep bringing them up?. If those other guys want him, it can happen at either weight, it's just more money and belts at MW. Do you have a point somewhere?

          • Here are the Facts

1.) Here is what Froch said about GGG, when Froch was still active, before the Groves rematch in 2014:

“Just swerve Golovkin like the plague. He punches like a mule. I don’t need to be in with him. Dangerous fight.”

Coming from this Froch vs Groves prefight Q&A:

2.) Later, Froch, after the Groves rematch said he only wants to face Chavez Jr in Vegas, or possibly face Ward in a rematch in his backyard, in Nottingham. The Chavez fight couldnt be made and Andre Ward didn't want to travel to Nottingham for that huge Froch rematch.

Then Tom Loeffler/GGG came out and said they would be agreeing to take the very same fight, Andre Ward rejected: Fighting Froch in his hometown, Nottingham @168.

Froch suddenly went quiet, he apparently didn't want it as you can read from his opinion about GGG. But GGG got alot of buzz and the UK media jumped on the GGG fight and put some pressure on Froch.

3.) Later in August Froch even made a huge poll on his own facebook page asking who he should face next, hoping that the majority of fans would vote for Chavez Jr. instead of GGG.

But GGG got by far the most votes on his facebook page.

Since then Froch went quiet, not mentioning GGG and actually talking about retiring for good.

4.) As time moves on, Froch retiring and moving away from fighting, is now taking part in several celeb shows int he UK, is becoming an ambassador of Party Poker and a commentator and analyst for Sky Box Office.

5.) Froch, in July of 2015, of course still craving for attention posts the picture of him "Too Big and Too Strong for GGG", Loeffler humble as always replied:
"There's only one way to find out". Even though people realized that Froch wasn't interested in a fight, he wanted to get some attention and do some promotion for Party Poker etc.

Most people who knew Froch, realized, he wasn't entertaining a GGG fight when he posted that picture.

6.) When Froch and Loeffler met in November of 2015 right after Canelo vs Cotto fought, Tom was just talking to Froch casually talking and joking about a possible fight, but Froch revealed he can't make 168 any more, but at 172 he would be a unstoppable.

Loeffler, smiling to Froch probably thought, "At first you say you are retired, then you post that picture, now you say you cant make 168 any more. Either talk or fight"

Also GGG is now finally getting that WBC belt and focusing to put pressure on Canelo to get him in the ring or at least get that precious WBC belt.

Here you can see what Froch says about GGG before and after retirement:

            Summary:

Froch never wanted to face GGG.
            Froch likes attention.
Loeffler and GGG wanted the fight.
            Loeffler is humble.

You trying to turn this around and fueling hate for the fighter you despise is pathetic.

YOU DONT KNOW IF THEY WOULD HAVE FOUGHT HIM OR NOT! they told floyd he wouldnt fight canelo...WAT HAPPENED??

just bc he is a bigger star then them doenst mean he didnt play himself..his purse is about to be 4million right??...who knows maybe it would have been 10 million by now....but lets be honest..his next purse wont even be 3 million..unless he once again fights a name vs name mismatch like this bout.

and those other guys are going to want him, but they are likely going to build their legacy and into mw..bc that wat u do when u play the game of going up in weight if you are going to fight a top fighter.

So GGG is overated and not top 5 then but we knoiw when he fightsnelo, GGG will be favourite. So it contradicts itself.
Let's face it, regardless of what u think of his resume he is top 5. There's so many things to support that belief that has nothing to do with gggs resume

                    • Eubank, Brook, Saunders will test him, but Lemieux wasn't a good opponent lol? Stevens wasn't lol? Rosado, who Saunders just ducked, wasn't?

Please, those guys are on the same level or below. Lemieux would beat every one of them in my opinion. Lemieux would also beat Abraham and Miranda. His speed and power is great and now that he fixed his stamina problem, he's an offensive machine. Dangerous for anyone at 160 besides GGG.
