Handspeed can potentially be argued although joshua is no slouch and has a considerable reach advantage which balances things.

Chin, I don't know, Nascimento had parker rocking and rolling and parker has never faced a puncher so who knows

Power is obviously advantage joshua as is size and physical strength.

I just don't see this being a good match up for parker he gets too involved and while that's OK vs 40 year old rugby players it's not against a guy like AJ

Parker is younger and still improving.

He should wait until 2018 to fight Joshua - otherwise he has very little chance of winning.

handspeed cannot be argued lol, JP has the fastest hands in the division by FAR.

Nascimento had him rocking? dont be silly, JP has never been rocked, you sound off your rocker pal!

How can AJ have a better chin when he was rocked and one punch away from being stopped by a fat euro level bum in Whyte, KO'd by whyte in the amateurs with headgear, which is the ONLY time someone has hit him, JP was taking FLUSH haymakers from a top 10 killer in Takam.

You can talk about 40 year old rugby players all you want, Parker has a better resume than Juicehuar and AJ is the champ, JP is still a young prospect, and takam is far better than anyone both AJ and Bum squad have fought....at least he was a great rugby player lol, Juicehuar is fighting fat failed NFL players AS THE CHAMP

What a joke the division is, when a 23 year old prospect has fought a better level of competition than both 'Champions'

Nascimento never hurt Parker's chin, Parker's airdrum burst in that fight which was unlucky and naturally painful and naturally got him in a bit of a state for a bit but he composed himself and KTFO Nascimento.

Joshua hasn't faced any harder hitters than Parker has, Takam is much faster, fitter and technically better than anything Joshua has faced and got through - albeit with a test and some lessons. Joshua has to be the favourite in this fight but relatively speaking this is a bigger step up in opposition for Joshua than it is for Parker, anyone saying this is one of Joshua's easiest fights are kidding themselves. There is no one on Joshua's CV that Parker wouldn't beat, too.

Joshua is going to mug Parker , i honestly think this will look like Appollo Creed vs Drago and the towel gets thrown by rnd 4/5 if hes still standing . The thing is the longer Parker waits the better Joshua gets and an improving Joshua is going to be much more effective than an improving Parker ,their just on two separate abilities .

This is a pick 'em fight for me. A huge step up for BOTH guys. The reality is this could end quickly either way. Parker has the better chin but Joshua has the bigger punch. Parker has a lot more tools to his arsenal, he throws a much better variety of punches and at times goes to the body really well, which I feel is a weak spot for Joshua.

At the same time Parker can be hit coming in by a right hand which is Joshua's best punch and Joshua has the size advantage.

This may well come down to who handles the pressure better on the night, I think it is a fight that could very well go back and forth and I'm hoping for a decent scrap that merits a rematch down the line.

Joshua has to start as favourite, but by no means do I see him as some untouchable second coming of Tyson/Foreman etc. This guy will lose, mark my words and it will be by KO when it happens. I see Parker as a live dog to pull the upset. there is no outcome in this fight that would surprise me other than the fight going 12 rounds.

                  Holy ****..

This is legit the best fight being made.

I expected for them both to let the fight build up a bit before they made this, but I ain't mad at this.

I think Parker has a very good chance for the upset. Joshua has never seen anyone who can let their hands go in combination the way Parker does. if Parker can handle Joshua early and make it though the first waive he's going to test Parker for sure.

Make it happen. Id cancel the dimitrenko fight & go for gold. No sense risking injury if he the fight has to be done by Jan 17. Parker win or lose walks out a millionaire & still has plenty of time to get to the top. He already beat Takam so he belongs in with the top 10. It would be Joshua's first top 10 opponent. Both guys are young so why waste time? Parker is the mandatory so hopefully his team don't pull a povetkin & pull out of title fight because his team thinks he's not ready. Makes no sense keeping Parker out of this fight. Joshua only gets better with experience so it's only going to get harder. Michael Bentt & Jesse Ferguson derailed 7 digit paydays for morrison & mercer. Drop the dimitrenko fight & sign to fight for the belt...
