I like Koval because like Roman he comes to fight and win and eliminate the judges!
However he does nothing better than Chocolatito!
The offense, defense, stalking, countering, ring generalship etc.......
is ALL for Roman, sorry but all you have to do is WATCH them box!

Why the hell is Fury on there? He's got one good win in his career.

It's hard to disagree. It's easier for Chocolatito and GGG to appear more dominant because their divisions are not great, so there's no real argument about who's the best in their divisions.

With Kovalev, there's a couple of other names in his division that you could say are close to him for being the best. Ward might beat him, but he shouldn't be considered in the p4p list until then as he hasn't done a thing for almost half a decade.

Kovalev has beaten better opposition than GGG and Chocolatito, so i'd say it's fair to say he's above them.

Beat the brakes? LOL a 115-113 UD is beating the brakes off somebody?

Jesus, I wonder what you call what Maidana did to Broner, or what Martinez did to Paul Williams then...

Ward decisioned Froch... NEVER ONCE seriously hurting him. And the championship rounds he was hanging on for dear life.

LOL wonder how many clinches Ward initiated in that fight.

His impressive decision against Alexander Brand, reinstates Ward at the top!

          Hahahahaha

            He has two good wins

Oh, I don't know, because that "one good win" just happened to be against one of the most dominant HW champions of all time? On a huge undefeated run, and at the top of his game?

When you beat a guy who is easily top 5 pound for pound, you should take his place on the list.

Go back and watch the Ward vs Froch fight and you honestly tell me which 5 rounds Froch won. Froch won two rounds, three if you were being nice. The judge that scored it 118-110 had it right. Plus Ward went into the fight with a broken hand and still whooped Froch ass! He had Froch bird beak red from all them jabs and straight rights he was eating!

As far as the Brand fight is concerned, I wish Ward would go on record and state who turned down the fight but he won't because that's not the type of dude he is. He and Hunter both have stated Brand wasn't on the top of their list but was willing to take the fight. Rumors are that Sharbransky, Beterbiev and Alvarez were a few who turned down the fight. We will never know because they are just that rumors.

I think Froch won 3-4 rounds - 5 is pushing it.

But I definitely wouldn't call it "beating the brakes" off Froch.

he was hanging on for dear life in the championship rounds.

What do you mean that's not the type of dude Ward is? LOL, he couldn't go one day without throwing shade at GGG. Same with his former promoter, who secured him a place in the S6, and helped guide his career excellently.

If any of those guys turned a fight down with Ward, it's because Ward wanted 2 million, and they'd only be left with 100k or so out of HBO's licensing fee.

But Ward would not hesitate to drop names!

Ward wanted to fight the easiest opponent for the most amount of money...

Cause he knows he's finally gonna have to fight Kovalev, and when he does, he'l get ruined.

As Hopkins found out, even getting clipped on the top of the head by Kovalev is enough to go down. Ward's going to be spoiling and running like hell. I hope the ref gives him a warning after 10 clinches max. Andre Dirrell was deducted a point vs Froch for clinching.
No special treatment for Hugdre Ward please.

Like I said let me know the 3-4 rounds that Froch won! I've watched that fight a handful of times and gave Froch 2 rounds, 3 if you want to be nice. That fight was not close at all, that was easy work!

The only time Ward says anything about GGG is when he's asked about him. GGG was the one always putting Ward's name in his mouth, not the other way around. When he confronted Loeffler about, Loeffler throws Able Sanchez under the bus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYz8cLQ6j9U .

You do realize in the Super 6 he wasn't supposed to win right? He wasn't supposed to beat Kessler, Abraham or Froch! All three were supposed to knock Ward out.

For whatever reason they turned down the fight, the fact is they turned down the fight. Sharbansky just made 75k for that bum he fought on Friday, I bet fighting Ward would've got him way more than 75k.
