I bet that 95% of those who cries about robbery will not be able to score a single round in amateur boxing. Before crying "robbery" you must learn two things
1. Conlan vs. Nikitin was a close fight
2. A win in a close fight can go either way.
So when you learn these two facts you will see that there is no reason for crying.
P.s. For those who want to argue with me - please write before your by round punch stat. Otherwise you are just a cheap talker

Conlan threw more punches, landed the HARDER punches, and was way more aggressive after the 1st round. Which is what the NEW scoring rules say to look for.

I give ONLY 1 round to the Russian the 1st. Round 2 and 3 Conlan won EASILY. PLUS the Russian was a BLOODY MESS. He looked like he got his @ss KICKED. While the Irish guy looked clean.

AND the Russian couldn't even fight again because he got his @SS kicked. No WHAT??? You didn't even watch the damn fight!

The question is how much punches landed each fighter. Nikitin had high guard defence, it's hard to see what punches landed clearly and what punches landed on his gloves. I don't know how it's possible to see from the available video. So it turns out that you have only impression about the fight, not actual score.

If so you would know Conlan won that fight, and their is punch statistics out for the fight, go look for them cause I cant be arsed going looking and pasting and all that....
Why do you think the Conlan fight as gained so much attention, its not just cause he had a tantrum, it was because it was a clear robbery, the second in a few hours at the time

I saw a Compubox statistics, it says that it was a close fight with close numbers of landed punches. Actually I ask about your own punch statistics. I don't know how all of you cry about robbery when you can't see all landed shots on video.

You could give the Russian the first round just on aggression but Conlon boxed his ears off in the first round in my opinion, movement, straight shots.
Second round - he dominated him - outfought, outboxed him
Third Round - He literally did everything he did in the second round.

I really dont know how you could score the third or even the first for Vladimir Nikitin.
He was throwing slow hay makers and blocking punches with his face.
He took such a beating he could not compete in the next round or he knew he should not of won and didnt want to lose in the next round.
Look at the Russians body language at the end of the fight he knew he loss.
It was a robbery and the AIBA president needs to step down.
