These people on the internet want us to listen to them over the people actually in the ring and in the biz? People who've seen more hype jobs and fighters come and go than any of us could dream of. C'mon man.....

DeGuardia said Algieri had never faced a fighter like Spence, someone who is on the way up and entering his prime. Algieri had fought superstars like Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan and he won a junior welterweight title against slugger Ruslan Provodnikov, but all of those fighters were a bit long in the tooth compared with Spence, DeGuardia said.
“It’s a different kind of fighter than let’s say (Amir) Khan, whose really been through the mill, is a veteran,” DeGuardia said. “Those speed-type reflexes aren’t going to be there. Different from Manny Pacquiao even who is coming up in weight and who doesn’t really have the same kind of speed and reflexes that he had years before. Ruslan Provodnikov — a different kind of style, a guy who plowed forward who doesn’t have that kind of speed. Errol Spence is a different fighter than Chris has ever fought. Lot of speed and a lot of agility. He’s a top, top fighter.”

I prefer to listen to the guys who've been punched in the face by him over what some guy on the internet is saying

Keith Thurman dropped him in the first round and decided to get some experience. Big ***ing deal.

Brook would have wiped his arse with Bundu in 2 rounds ffs And some of you idiots are claiming Brook moved up to avoid Spence.

I mean, I don't know where to start. If there's anything in you that believes Brook is moving to MW to avoid this kid, you should have your ******ed brain scanned immediately.
Spence was a 100 to 1 favorite not because Bundu was so bad but because Spence was so good. Thurman was about 20 to 1 to beat Bundu. Clearly the bookies consider Spence better than Thurman. Thurman calls himself one time Thurman. He prides himself on getting the KO and he himself says he always tries for the KO. He didn't let Bundu survive to get some experience. That's a load of bull. If that was the case he could have carried Bundu for a while and taken him out in the 10th, 11th or 12th round. The fact is Thurman was too cautious and he failed to KO Bundu and it's as simple as that. Spence did something Thurman couldn't do. He KOed Bundu with ease in 6 rounds. He left Bundu stretched out and dead to the world. Beating Bundu is no big deal. Beating him in the fashion Spence beat him is something to get excited about. I don't believe for a second that Brook is avoiding Spence. Brook fighting the hardest punching, best and most dangerous middleweight in the world to avoid fighting Spence makes no sense at all. The idea is ridiculous. If Brook returns to 147 he will fight Spence. Brook is a fearless boxer. The idea that he would get himself knocked out by GGG to avoid fighting Spence is a very ****** one.

Just a strong solid WW and a damn good addition to the division, he'll make for exciting fights. Me personally, I just don't think he's as good as the hype, I find him to be stiff up top, no upper body movement at all.

You say Brook would KO Bundu in 2 rounds. Maybe so and maybe no. That is just you saying Brook would do that. Spence actually did KO a fighter who had never been KOed before in 6 one sided rounds. There is a big difference between a boxer actually doing something compared to a fan of a boxer saying that boxer would do something he hasn't done yet.

Spence does appear to be good, but people shouldn't proclaim him as an elite boxer until he beats someone in the Ring or Transnational top ten at welterweight.

I'd like to see him in with Thurman, Porter, or another proven fighter.

I think one thing is for sure. Thurman and Spence can both find a better opponent than a 42-year-old who's never accomplished anything who also has no power. Come on, now. Spence has looked great, but put him in with real guys so we see what he can really do. Guerrero would have been better.

Bundu fought them both one right after the other. Who would know better than Bundu who is the better fighter between Spence and Thurman?
