Well you're trying to claim that Hearns' domination of Duran meant nothing. If that is the case, then Floyd's win over Oscar meant MUCH less than NOTHING.

      **Stares at thread title**

      STFU.

You made an ass of yourself trying to belittle Hearns' victory over Duran. I repeat, name ANY fighter Floyd has beaten that can beat Duran, let alone flatten him in 2. NAME ONE. Kids, man...

No he wont be #1 of alltime, Seriously what is up with you guys? He needs to do a lot more

Also anyone claiming that Duran was even near his best when he fought Hearns suffers from serious Mental ******ation.

That's why I think Hearns could dominate Mayweather. Hearns' size and style would give Mayweather huge trouble.

I never saw Tommy Hearns outboxed by anyone, so if you couldn't hurt him you were in for a long evening.

The only problem there is that Williams doesn't utilise his height and reach advantage like Hearns did. Williams doesn't actually have very good boxing skills, all he has is an absurd punch output. He would lose to Mayweather if they fought now because he would come in and try to fight an inside game and out**** Mayweather which just wouldn't work.

If he could really figure out how to use his reach and stick a ten foot long jab in Mayweathers face all night with a few strong right hands behind it, all the while keeping completely out of range of any possible counter attack from Mayweather he would be able to win....but at the moment he doesn't fight anything like that.

                Mayweather UD at the moment.

Mayweather will never be considered No. 1 no matter what he does. There is just not enough strong competition for him to beat to be considered anything close to being No. 1. If he fought in the 'fab four' days he would of lost to Duran at lightweight, been outboxed by both Leonard and Hearns at Welter and he would never have fought Hagler because he was too big. The best that Floyd has beaten would not have even been No. 1 contenders back then.
