Agreed Joyce was more active, but Yoka still was more effective, most of his punches landed clean.

    Joyce only slapped Yoka's belly.
The body shots that Joyce landed were significant and took away some of Yoka's steam. Ultimately, boxing judging is subjective so you'll almost always have disagreements but you only have to look around to see that most people believe that Joyce was the rightful winner.

Yoka covered up like a Winky and countered at will.

      Joyce doesn't have defense.

The word is "ineffective", and they clearly weren't given the fact Frenchie was in survival mode and holding on in the final round. Only Joyce's punches were making any sort of an impact.

Yoka adopted the Felix Sturm style of defence and got similarly rewarded with a bogus decision for it.

I acknowledged he did land body punches, bur not solid enough body punches to make him win the fight.

Joyce displayed what is UNEFECTIVE AGRESSION for the first 2 rounds and so lost the fight.

There are not more robberies in Olympic boxing than in pro boxing.

You're just bitter because the results don't fit your agenda.

Calling Yoka vs Joyce a robbery is plain and ******.

You can think Joyce won but have to understand some judges reward clean effective punches in every case.

In a forum full of Brits, then americans hating more the french than the brit?

How many French men on this forum?

Go on a philipino forum to see if they think Pacquiao lost to Mayweather (even if May clearly won)

You see, English is not my first language, but I can speak different languages.

            Guess you can too...

            Wich survival mode?
He covered well and outlanded him, he landed more clean punches IMO.

I'm glad the better boxer won.

No, it just makes AIBA look like the blatantly corrupt and crooked organisation it is - in that sense these high profile **** decisions are a good thing.

And you mean to tell me an event that comes around every four years doesn't produce as many bad decisions as a sport that stages fights on a daily basis? Eye-opening stuff.

I wanted Joyce to win, but even I thought it was very close.

Ams fights are fast going with a HIGHER PACE and harder to judge.

Punches are flying all over the place.

Believe me, I know this sport closely.

Judges prefer the pro rythm, more money and the pace is slower.

Let's see them turn pro. I'm not a big amateur boxing fan. It's more like a prizefighter tourney & the judging is worse than in the pro ranks. I wonder how this class of HW will do at the pro level...
