i will say this about floyd,

he has gotten much better at staying in pocket and using proper defensive technique as he's gotten much older.

when he was younger,

he did a lot of LITERAL RUNNING and it was being passed off as boxing wizardry by the al haymon crowd.



floyd an ward have gotten much better at not spoiling fights these last few years....

This post just goes to show that you don't even know what you're talking about . When Floyd was younger Al Haymon wasn't even in the picture. Floyd was promoted by Bob Arum for the first ten years of his career. So how was Floyd's "running" being passed off as boxing wizadry by the "Al Haymon crowd" when Al Haymon wasn't even in the picture?

Any pro boxer who is world level would finish him quickly. Floyd isn't the biggest puncher but should be able to land at will.

Andre Berto would finish McGregor in a round or two in boxing, and vice versa.

Not a handful dude. Remember, these are 5 minute rounds. So basically, McGregor was TRULY running for 10 out of 15 minutes of a fight. The other 5 was spent in a clinch resting against a cage.

Yeah but look how often he gets tagged and that's off guys that are not pro boxers. Imagine when all he's allowed to do is throw punches, how often he is going to get countered with such accuracy. His chin would be cracked pretty quickly i think.

At the end of the day, McGregor is not a boxer, or not a skilled one anyway. If he was limited to just punching, he would get smashed pretty quickly because he'd barely land a shot and be taking them very often.

Just as a boxer would lose easily fighting him under UFC rules.

Mcgreggor is an underrated boxer
He managed to beat van heerdan in sparring, Heerdan denies it but from the highlights Connor looked thoroughly in control. Yea Van heerdan isnt worldclass but its still damn impressive for connor who isnt even a boxer to beat him.
He ran a bit in the Diaz fight but look at the damage he did, it was a good fight
