Well he tried just hope he doesn't f'ing sign with Floyd seriously, at this point sign with anyone but Floyd. Just really don't want to see this kid get used up and while yes all promoters will use him up there ain't shhh going on a Mayweather Promotions that indicates they can take him where he needs to go.

I get it, it meant a lot to him but he is 19, not 9. He shouldn't be weeping like his mother just died. Relax, take it like a man and move on.

They work hard to prove themselves to the world and their country so if they break down after a tough loss, that's ok.
The olympics are the most important fights in any boxers career, at least it should be. They are not just fighting for money they are fighting for the pride of a whole country. I would have probabky waited until i got back to the hotel to break down but hey hes still just a kid. Only problem i have is he said he doesnt like to lose and then started crying. If he was crying because he felt like he dishonored the country that is legit. But hey if bam bam can cry after losing to pacquiao this kid should get a pass for the olympics for sure. It just means hes very dedicated and cares about how good he does. Mayweather should be happy hes going to have a good fighter in his stable finally

Also pacquiao cried after losing to morales, he said it was because he let the whole country of the phillipines down which he had a point, the whole country literally watches his fights and a loss to him is like a loss to the whole country. Kind of the same for the olympics

Exactly, mayweather promotions is a joke. Mayweather was promoting jesse vargas heavy and then he went over to top rank lol hes probably paying the fighters like garbage because he knows alot of fighters loom up to him and he could take advantage of them. Kind of like how don king ripped off all his fighters because he was black and used that to his advantage to get black fighters to sign with him

100% true. When you pour heart and soul into something and come up just short it's heartbreaking. No shame in showing emotion.

Exactly..i coach kids and see the work they put in, you can see the dreams in their eyes..so for someone to **** on them for showing emotion pisses me clean off..These kids work their hearts out chasing a dream only a few others believe in

he's 19 years old and came closer to greatness than any of us ever will. that kid worked hard, man. i haven't seen the interview, but i don't know what you're going to expect when you interview a 19 year old kid right after he loses a chance for a gold medal.

he should be proud of what he accomplished, but he's just a kid and can't see past the loss.

again, this kid is 19 years old, and probably spent too much time in the gym to mature emotionally, the way a lot of top athletes do. give him a break.
