Damn Larry, you are waaayyy late on this. They've had Floyd consistently rated as the best fighter of all tie for the past month or so.

sometimes a guy has to switch up their game plan to suit the situation. i wouldnt rush to watch the may baldo ''fight'' if i were you. it was hit n move all night.

with dlh vs tito, dlh got robbed. people think pac was robbed with timmy, this was worse. why is one fans boxing another fans ''running'' ? no, we didnt get the explosive hagler hearns affair. does that mean dlh couldnt fought any other way ? without using the same finger twice, i can count on one hand the number of combos tito landed. he was in pure headhunting mode regardless of him never landing.

as for the ''running rds (8-12 ?), again, why not call it boxing ? ali did it for long stretches in his fights. and why give tito his only chance at winning (HA!) by letting him land a hail mary ? dlh, throught the entirety of the fight, did exactly what he wanted to do while tito was desperately trying to land. check punchstats/compubox.

As to Tito v Oscar it's impossible for me to call literal running boxing. Gotta throw some punches. To say Oscar n that fright would be to say he sweept the First eight. Nope. Oscar did what he wanted to (avoid getting laid out) until he couldn't do any more. Then ran. One can't take another championship by not doing anything for 1/3 of the fight especially the championship rounds. So we have to disagree on this one. If Oscar did what Floyd did to Canelo then you would have a point. However all Oscar did was stay away jumped in and flurried then immediately jumped back out two to three times a round for the first eight rounds. The last for he just stayed away. You can call that boxing (first 8) but it's very low level boxing. It's certainly not "a boxing lesson" Oscar claimed he gave I didn't drink that kool aid. It was simply a lesson on how not to gktfo by Trinidad in which he did in fact excell. We can argue whether he lost or not but he certainly didn't win that fight.

Coming back from injury or not Kostya was the #1, so you cant say Floyd beat the #1 by beating Gatti, everyone and their mom knows Kostya was #1 regardless of if he was out injured or not.

Thats like if Floyd broke his hand and was out injured, and someone fought the next best guy and claimed they beat the #1 guy and moved on. They didn't Floyd was still the #1 guy, just like Kostya was still the #1 guy.

Add to that Kostya was a dominant #1 and would have been the best win of Floyds career.

****, look what Hatton and his home town ref helping him beat Tszyu did for Hattons career.

But someone how beating Gatti who was considered washed up before the gatti ward trilogy 3 years after the Gatti ward trilogy makes him the best fighter at 140. Meanwhile Kostya Tszyu was still the Ring Magazine Champion at 140.

Look Floyds 1st fight at 140 was on 5-22-2004..Kosta did not return to fight until he fought Shamba Mitchell on 11-6-2004

Kosta lost to Hatton-6-4-2005..Floyd fought Gatti 6-25-2005..Ring had Hatton as Ring champ and Gatti ranked #1

That's ****ing hysterical. AN being #12 is wayyy worse than Floyd being #1.

So either way, he still didnt fight the #1 in the division. The #1 challenger isn't the same as the #1 in the division.
