While there are a number of potential opponents for Bradley, his wife and manager, Monica Bradley, told ESPN.com that Miguel Cotto is an opponent her husband would like to see in the ring before he retires. Cotto is currently planning a December pay-per-view bout, but still needs an opponent. That will be a pairing worth following in the coming months.

I think prime Cotto would win a close decision though.

Cotto by KO. Cotto, especially when he is trained by Roach is way too much for Bradley in my opinion. He is a more skilled boxer and a vastly harder puncher. Bradley can't really hurt Cotto and Cotto can and will hurt Bradley. Bradley is a small welterweight without much punching power. Cotto is a small Jr middleweight and size wise his best fighting weight is 10 pounds or so bigger than Bradley's best fighting weight. Bradley has an edge in work rate and stamina. That won't be nearly enough to overcome Cotto's superiority in boxing skills, size, ability to take hard punches and most of all punching power. Cotto put up a good fight with Canelo. There is no doubt in my mind that Canelo would easily KO Bradley. Bradley was nearly KOed and badly hurt by Vargas and Ruslin and they don't have anywhere near Cotto's punching power and precision.
