Here is some sparring from Game Bred boxing gym and me working speed bag

This is a sparring session between pro Derrick Wilson(featherweight/whitew trunks) and Reggie(amatuer 141 pounds yellow trunks)

my boy derrick fought, Javier Fortuna a few years ago.....he gave a good account for himself but was stopped late.

My new best friend during rest periods(red light). My brothers @ Tony Chapman Csk Tyree Morrow know how important rhythm is before fighting. After two weeks of training. Tomorrow will be putting in...

first time hitting speed bag consistently in about 7 years....feels good to have the time to train and work with the young kids coming up.

today will be my first time sparring in a boxing ring in almost a decade. Wish me luck....any advice would be appreciated

Only advice is to post your sparring session after.

            thanks bro

Got my weight down to 145...I was 155 two weeks ago.

Coach J says he likes my power and speed.

My footwork and slipping into a counter needs work so Im gonna stick to the basics

Bust em up with the jab, work it to the head and body, throw feints and work the body to break em down.

my stamina needs some work. Ran a mile for the first time in years Tuesday lol/

I may have to spar both or one of them today. They are far more experienced than me but as you said, I am older, I also hit harder. Also timing negates speed.

The feet are always the first to go and last to get back, take that part slow, dont get over anxious and SKIP ROPE!!! lol! Your coach was right about the feints, you have to be clever and itll also help with your footwork. And thats a good weight drop man, that just goes to show you got rid of the crappy UN-necessary weight. Yes timing beats speed BUT reflex is superior to both. Until your reflexes come back, just throw with those youngsters haha, you may get out worked but you will gain respect...

I think its cool you posted some vids btw most guys on here wouldnt, props to you and good luck!
