I think Manny deserves a light touch fight like this coming back after retiring from the Bradley win until his schedule is better suited to fight a better opponent. He has given HBO a lot of good #'s throughout the years.
Why do y'all keep saying manny retired when he just fought in April and returning around his regular time he usually do his second fight of year?

This ppv is going to flop regardless who top rank suckers into distributing it. My guess is top rank produces it themselves. But arum has spent all year fighting with hbo and I think they are getting sick of him and that's why other younger fighters who don't have a loud mouth promoter are getting the prime dates on hbo instead of top rank fighters. And haymon owns showtime so he has nowhere else to go. He needs hbo more then they need him. Arum should of gave a better fight or moved the ppv date so it don't conflict with ppvs hbo already had. Instead he acting like stubborn child.

crawford has took to a level fighters 0's, traveled with win a belt, and 140...also would have unified 135 if the belts would have been secureed down there, but they were not at the time he was champ.

he's not even reached 30 yet...

A ton of dumb people in this thread.

The choice of Pacquiaos opponent has nothing to do with putting up the PPV or not, they simply can't do 2 PPVs back to back in November.

If Arum and Pac had got their sht together and made a decision and reserved November before other PPV's took that month, they would have had everything locked in. Early bird gets the worm!

Arum is funny acting like this was a shock and it's not what he wanted. Last week he said HBO wouldn't be involved.

Vargas is going to be heavily promoted to the Mexican audience and they always jump to watch a Mexican fighter challenge a big name.
