He faced trial by fire and handles his guys same way it seems

I don't know if the extra rest is a blessing or a detriment for Shakur, on the other hand Robeisy has faced serious world class fighters and has beaten them with ease. His confidence going in this fight will be very high. Shakur is rested but he hasn't faced anybody good so I don't know where his confidence will be at.

Without taking anything away from Shakur, I don't think it's fair to the rest that he is already in the finals when all he's done was to fight one fight. I mean, the Russian was in it from the beginning. I really wanted to see this fight. Still, I'm looking forward to Robeisy Caarranza giving Shakur a run for the gold. I hate people who cut in line.

Dude.. The cuban he is fighting is a 2012 gold medalist & is top ranked amateur.. So it is kind of hungry prospect vs established champ..

That's the downside to no headgear. Fighters get cut and can't fight with these quick turnarounds.

I don't know any solution to this unless the loser of the previous fight fills in as a replacement.

Devastating that we didnt get Conlan v Shakur. Would've been one for the ages.

This is the biggest fight of the Olympics but whats unfortunate is the shakur has had too many unfair advantages.

Shakur got s first rd bye
Shakur faced a weak draw his two fights
Shakur got another bye into the finals
Shakur is very well rested due to thr two byes.

I hope Ramirez puts on his A game cuz he's the better more deserving fighter.
